Hey there, friends! Our young adult ministry is officially underway! Yeah, we might've started off a bit slow and sputtery (Yep, "sputtery" is totally a word now, haha!), but we continue to holomua! Continue to move forward, trusting in God's timing and grace.
Sunday, March 24th, 2024 - we saw our young men and women gathered together at Ka'ahumanu Church for our first meeting! We did our intros, shared some laughs, and dreamed big dreams. (One suggested Playgrounds for the Sunday School and Youth room for the teenagers. Essentially more fundraising events in our near future haha). As time was/is limited on Sundays, we encouraged attendees to bring their phones for online activities and communication during the week.
Now, fast forward to our second meetup on April 14th, 2024 - We're just hanging out; but we're also building the foundation of our faith journey. With our online tools, we're diving into discipleship, while Aunty Luana shared some serious wisdom with an object lesson that coincidentally paralleled the scripture reading for the day, Acts 9:1-20 - you know, Saul's big transformation story. Talk about perfect timing.
